What is Hourwallet?
Hourwallet is an app for iPhone and iPad, with Android coming soon, that tracks work hours, pay and overtime and lets you budget the money you earn. It combines a work hours tracker (clock in and out, several job profiles, salary with overtime) and a personal wallet (accounts, expenses and income, budgets, planned payments) in one app. The wallet is for personal tracking only: it does not connect to banks or move money.
Is there an Android version of Hourwallet?
Not yet. Hourwallet is available now on iPhone and iPad from the App Store. An Android version is coming soon on Google Play.
Is Hourwallet free, and what does Pro add?
Hourwallet is free to download. Hourwallet Pro is an optional upgrade that removes ads, adds automatic cloud sync across your devices, links your job income to your wallet, and unlocks more categories, unlimited projects and advanced data management. Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase.
Does Hourwallet sync across devices, and is my data protected?
Cloud sync is part of Hourwallet Pro. Once you are signed in, it runs automatically and merges the changes you make on your devices. Synced data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the sync service can read it so that it can merge those changes. Without Pro, your data stays on your device. There are no analytics on your wallet or work content.
Does Hourwallet work offline?
Yes. Hourwallet is offline-first: your work hours and wallet are stored on your device, so you can log hours and record expenses without a connection. Syncing with your other devices needs Hourwallet Pro.
Which languages does Hourwallet support?
Hourwallet is available in 11 languages, including English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Hindi, Japanese and Chinese, with full right-to-left support and light and dark themes.
Can I import my records from another money app?
Yes. In the Wallet tab, choose Import from another app and select a CSV file exported by another money app. The file is read on your device and is not uploaded, and you can undo an import with Remove this import. You can also export your records as PDF or CSV.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, open Profile and choose Delete account to delete your account and the cloud data held for it. Data Management, then Clear All Data, erases your data on the device and, when cloud sync is active, from the cloud and your other devices. You can also delete your account on the Hourwallet website or by emailing support@trackerapp.me.
Is Hourwallet the app that used to be called Tracker?
Yes. Hourwallet was previously named Tracker. It is the same app and the same App Store listing; only the name changed. Tracker Light is a separate, simpler app that keeps its name.
