Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Hourwallet, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the app.

Description of Service

These terms cover both of our apps: Hourwallet (the full-featured app) and Tracker Light (the simple offline app). Hourwallet is a productivity application that helps you:

• Track work hours, breaks, and sessions
• Calculate earnings, overtime, and salary
• Manage multiple job profiles, projects, and clients
• Keep a manual ledger of your own accounts, income, expenses, planned payments, and budgets (Wallet)
• Generate reports and export your data
• Sync your data across your devices automatically with cloud sync (an Hourwallet Pro feature)

Tracker Light offers a subset of these features, works entirely offline, requires no account, and has no subscriptions. The account and subscription sections below apply to Hourwallet only; all other sections apply to both apps.

Wallet is a manual record-keeping feature of Hourwallet. You enter your own accounts, income, expenses, transfers, planned payments, and budgets, or import records from a CSV file that you choose. Wallet does not connect to banks or other financial institutions, does not hold, move, send, or receive money, and does not process payments, lend, or invest. Higher limits on Wallet accounts, budgets, and planned payments, the link between your jobs and Wallet, and cloud sync of your Wallet data are part of Hourwallet Pro.

Account (Required for Hourwallet)

Hourwallet requires a free account, which you may create with email and password, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In, handled by Firebase Authentication (Google). App versions before 2.0 still use Clerk for sign-in until they are retired. Tracker Light does not use accounts.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information when registering
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

Subscriptions and Payments

Hourwallet Pro features are available through in-app purchases.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription anytime through your App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) account
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of the relevant app store; we do not process refunds directly
• Pricing and features may change with prior notice; the current price is always shown before you confirm a purchase

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use Hourwallet for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the app
• Share, sell, or sublicense your account credentials

Intellectual Property

• Hourwallet, its features, designs, and content are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law
• You retain full ownership of the data you create within the app
• You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the app or its content
• You grant us a non-exclusive license to use any feedback or suggestions you send us
• Our trademarks may not be used without prior written permission

Privacy

Your use of Hourwallet is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we process and how. By using the app you also agree to that policy.

Disclaimers

• The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
• Salary, tax, and overtime calculations are estimates only and depend on the data you enter; you are responsible for verifying critical financial calculations
• You are responsible for backing up your data; export options are available in Data Management
• Wallet is a record-keeping tool. It is not financial, tax, accounting, investment, or legal advice, and Hourwallet is not a bank, lender, payment service, or financial institution. You are responsible for your own tax and legal obligations
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter or import into Wallet. Amounts shown as expected or marked ≈, and totals converted between currencies using exchange rates you enter, are estimates and approximations calculated from your own data; they are not statements of money received or owed and may differ from actual amounts
• Importing depends on the file you choose, which is created by another app; we do not control its content or format and do not guarantee that it will import completely or correctly, so check imported records before relying on them

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability for any claim related to Hourwallet is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose
• We are not liable for any financial decision, loss, penalty, or tax consequence arising from your use of, or reliance on, the records, balances, estimates, budgets, or statistics in Wallet, or from data you enter or import
• We are not responsible for losses arising from third-party services (Firebase, Apple, Google, AdMob, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and Clerk for app versions before 2.0)

Termination

• You may stop using Hourwallet and delete your account at any time from the in-app profile screen
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Before termination, you can export your data from Data Management
• Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
